Cherry Blossoms celebrates Spring, and my own awakening in creating participatory, or interactive art. Paintings take a new identity as backdrops to LEDs, sensors, or projected light. These works include Video, traditional and non-tradional mediums including lenticular collages, iPad printed textiles, and a series of Tutorials titled GirlsMakeArt.
New work in progress. Along with sociopolitical (#nodapl) and issues of water cleanliness and eco-sustainability, on a personal level I have been practicing leaning into my emotional depths at this time of great personal uncertainty. These experiences of being immersed in vulnerability offer great opportunities to rising stronger, building rainbow bridges in the community, and ultimately lend towards a better world.
