One-Day Digital Art Residency
Jenn Schmitt, @bantryhill, Head of Information Technology and Electronic Communications at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, and I connected on Twitter. Their 2013 app was new and the museum was closed for an exhibition installation, Jenn thought a One-Day Digital Art Residency, paired with a live Artist drawing on-site, would bring attention to the sculpture park using social media while the public was also able to participate live, or on Twitter by recommending work for me to draw, or being inspired to draw at home. Twitter friend, Art Writer/Blogger, Anulfo Baez, @EvolvingCritic, highlighted our collaboration in a really nicely written article in Big, Red & Shiny Magazine.
